For this, we begin by making a batch of cauliflower rice (that can be eaten as normal rice) and then use that to make the crust for the pizza.

Chocolate Chip and Hazelnut Cookies

These are THE BEST COOKIES EVER. I was shocked when I discovered they were actually this amazing... I wasn't expecting that! Everyone definitely needs to give these a try; they're a healthier alternative to the regular chocolate & hazelnut cookie since they're made with brown sugar and 70% cacao dark chocolate.
I have a feeling I'm going to be making these very, very often! I couldn't even focus on getting good pictures of the outcome, because I was so eager to eat them all!

Tuna Cups

I absolutely LOVE these. They were so simple to make, and they tasted so great! I could have eaten about a hundred of these myself, if only I had made that many! It's a recipe I made myself, as appetizers for a dinner party. Enjoy :)

Mini Crab Cakes
These mini crab cakes from BBC Good Food were a huge hit at a dinner party that my family hosted at our home a while back. Everyone kept complimenting them... They were amazed by them, and they're so easy to make!

Chocolate Beet Root Cake
I would never have thought to add beet root to a cake, especially a chocolate one, but it works! This cake is sugar free and contains unsweetened 70% dark chocolate, so it's a healthier option compared to other chocolate cakes! Plus, the colour is lovely, and is achieved naturally. The recipe was found while browsing Green Kitchen Stories, and it's definitely something everyone should try at least once!

Two Bean Salad
This easy recipe is something everyone can make from the ingredients they probably have sitting around somewhere in the kitchen. It's a great, refreshing recipe for the summer time, to serve at a summer garden party. For me, it's more of a lunch recipe, but I reckon it would work well for dinner as well, mainly as a side dish.

Lavash Bread with Garden Vegetables
I love this recipe! Although it may not look like the most appetizing meal, it's certainly one of the best I've ever had. This recipe is quick and easy to make, and it serves as a great lunch. And from all those things, the best part is: it's really healthy and good for you!
Usually when I think of anything that involves any kind of bread, butter and cheese come to mind, which are packed with loads of fat. This "sandwich" is made of only healthy things, and it tastes so much better. Plus, the things inside are probably ingredients you have stored somewhere in your kitchen!
I seriously wish I could eat this every day.

Creamy Tomato Pasta
This pasta recipe combines two different pasta sauces to make one, brightly orange coloured sauce. I had never made either of these sauces before, so I learnt a lot from it. The pasta turned out well. It's an appropriate recipe for the summer when there's need for good pasta combined with the use of tomatoes. The recipe was found on Kitchen Trial and Error.

New York Style Bagels
Bagels are so great. There's just something about them that I love, and have been missing for the past few years, since they don't sell them where I live. When I saw this recipe on Sophisticated Gourmet, I knew the only option was for me to make them. I've never made any type of bread, and it was the first time I made anything using yeast, so it was all a new experience for me.
The bagels turned out delicious! I love bagels with cream cheese and salmon, like you can find in the pictures below, but actually... They're great with almost anything!

Orange, Almond and Poppy Seed Cake with Orange Frosting
I love oranges. They have an amazing flavour and aroma, and I have always wanted to include them in a dessert but I never actually tried looking for a recipe to make. When I happened to come across this recipe on Clementine Cuisine, I thought that I should definitely try it out. I then combined it with a frosting recipe found on a WikiHow tutorial. They work great together!
Unfortunately my cake has a high excess of poppy seeds, as you can see. This is because of incorrect conversions from US measurements to the metric system. Even though this happened, the cake still tasted great. The recipe below will have an accurate amount to add though, so this won't happen to you!

Chocolate Cream Cheese Cupcakes
Unfortunately for me, I made a mistake during the baking process that resulted in the cupcakes turning out very different than they were supposed to. Because of my small family, I thought that cutting the recipe in half would be better for us, but I forgot to cut one important ingredient in half: the egg. Because of the special way these cupcakes are made, that resulted in a big change.
Hopefully your experience with these will be much better than mine. Next time I make them, I'll definitely pay more attention. I'll try again some day and add some updated photos along with these to show a better outcome!

Omelet Muffins
I got inspired to make these after seeing a version of breakfast omelet muffins on My Kitchen By the Lake yesterday. I saw them late in the evening and got really hungry for them and promised myself I'd make them as soon as I woke up, which I did. They're pretty easy to make, and the great thing about them is that you can add basically anything you want inside.

Nutella Cookies
So I came across this recipe today for these easy cookies made out of mainly Nutella, and I just had to try it. I found the recipe (through Pinterest) on Tasty Kitchen, who originally took it from A Busy Nest. It's one worthwhile trying if you love Nutella (who doesn't?) and want to make a batch of really easy cookies.
This is the first post I made by taking photos of the whole process- I hope it's easy to follow for everyone. Let me know!
Roasted Smashed Potatoes
I found this recipe because of Pinterest, and I just had to try it for myself. It was originally taken from America's Test Kitchen where you have to sign up to see it, so if you don't want to sign up, just use my version! The great thing about this recipe is that it's easy to make, especially if you have left over already boiled potatoes, and you don't really need specific amounts of anything, just experiment!
I decided to try it today because we have a bunch of boiled potatoes leftover from the dinner party my parents organised yesterday, so for me, it was very convenient! These potatoes are great alone as a snack, or you can add some grilled chicken or something alongside them for a dinner meal.

Baked Sweet and Sour Chicken
I just finished making this great recipe for a version of sweet and sour chicken. I have never actually baked meat in the oven before, so that was a new experience for me. It makes a really lovely meal though; it's one of those recipes you know you're going to make many more times.

First Post & Heart Muffins
So this is the official launch of my food blog, which currently has no title. The muffins pictured above were made yesterday for a couple friends that came over. The frosting is my favourite frosting recipe I've ever tried- next time I make muffins, I'll go into details about it with pictures and descriptions of the whole process.
Aren't the pink hearts on top cute? :-)
